The forest department of Telangana government today gave clearances to different development works undertaken by the state government.
The clearances were given at a meeting of the Wildlife Council. Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna attended the meeting, a state government release said.
The development works include construction of Tummidihatti barrage on the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border, Kinnerasani road works in Khammam district and construction of a power plant in Bhadradri district, it said.
The release said a committee has been appointed to study the objections of forest department on allowing movement (of traffic) in the Kawwal tiger reserve.
