The Biennial election to fill up six vacancies in the Telangana Legislative Council will take place on June 1.
The notification for the poll would be issued on May 14 and May 21 is the last date for filing nominations, according to a release from the State Chief Electoral Officer here.
Polling would be held on June 1 and counting of votes will take place the same day at 5 PM.
The six vacancies arose due to retirement of sitting members. The members of the council are to be elected by the MLAs.
