Temperature crosses 30 degree mark after four days

The mercury rose slightly today after wintry conditions prevailed in the city for the last few days with the maximum temperature rising over the 30 degrees Celsius mark after remaining below it for the last four days.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 16.2 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year.

Humidity levels oscillated between 94 and 47 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted "mainly clear sky" for tomorrow with the possibility of shallow fog in the morning.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature had settled at 15.6 degrees Celsius.
