Temperature dips in Himachal Pradesh

The state capital recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees C, the Met Department said.

Solan registered 6.5 degrees C, while Bhuntar recorded a low of 7.1 degrees C.

In mid and higher hills and tribal areas of Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti, the temperatures were 1. 4 degrees C and minus 1.1 degrees C.

The tourist resort of Manali recorded a low of 3.8 degrees C, two degrees below normal, the department said.

Nahan in Shivalik foothills recorded a low of 11.5 degrees C, six notches below normal, it said.
