Ten killed in Beijing due to carbon monoxide poisoning

Five residents, including a seven-year-old boy, were found dead at a house near a market in Shilihe Village of Chaoyang District yesterday.
In a separate incident, five students from a medical college were found dead at around 8:30 am Monday in a rented house in the district, they said.
The cause of their deaths is being investigated.
In Beijing, many residents in rural areas or cottages still use coal-fuelled stoves in winter, leading to carbon monoxide poisoning cases.
