Thakur sanctions Rs 50 lakh from MPLAD fund

BJP MP from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur has sanctioned close to Rs 50 lakh from local area development (LAD) fund for various development works in his constitutency.

Thakur, who toured the constituency recently, reviewed the progress of the ongoing projects and asked the panchayats and the local adminstration to expedite the work of the pending ones for the benefit of the people.

According to a statement, he visited various places in Mandi, Hamirpur and Bilaspur districts falling under his Lok Sabha constitutency.
