"The Affair" is getting renewed for fourth season.
The network announced the renewal of the drama during Showtime's Television Critics Association winter press tour presentation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The announcement has come at a time, when only three weeks remain for the third season finale of the drama series.

The series starring Ruth Wilson, Dominic West, Joshua Jackson and Maura Tierney has found its audience for its "he-said, she-said" narrative method. The show had scored high on both ratings and awards.
"The Affair" even received the Golden Globe for best drama in its first season in the year 2015.
But more recently, the Sarah Treem-penned series has faced a lot of heat from important names in the business.
As a result of which, currently, it is not being touted as an award-winning show.
