Having sold more than one million copies in the UK alone, singer Robin Thicke's controversial track 'Blurred Lines' has become the biggest selling single of 2013.

The track managed to beat Daft Punk's come-back single 'Get Lucky' to the top of the yearly chart, reported Contactmusic.

'Blurred Lines', which also features US rapper TI and producer Pharrell Williams, spent five non-consecutive weeks at Number one on the Official Singles Chart following its release in May.
