Thomas Cook India acquires Canada-based Brainhunter Systems

Travel firm Thomas Cook (India) has acquired Canada-based Brainhunter Systems Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

The company's subsidiary, IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd has completed the acquisition of Brainhunter Systems Ltd, Thomas Cook (India) said in a filing to BSE.

"The transaction was consummated on October 23, 2014 and 7,000,100 shares of common stock, being 100 per cent of the issued, subscribed and paid up share capital of Brainhunter Systems Ltd has been transfered in favour of IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd," it added.

Headquartered in Toronto (Canada), Brainhunter Systems is a leading IT and Engineering professional firm, employing about 700 professionals and with revenues of about USD 80 million.
 

Shares of Thomas Cook (India) today closed at Rs 150.85 apiece on BSE, down 1.41 per cent from previous close.
