Prices of thoor dal, wheat and maida increased while prices of moong dal, gram dal and sugar decreased at the wholesale foodgrains market during the week ending today.
Thoor dal opened at Rs.8,500 more by Rs.500 per quintal from its closing rates of Rs.8,000 and its price increased thrice by Rs.100 per quintal to finish the week at Rs.8,800.
Wheat opened at Rs.2,600 at Rs.100 less from its closing rate of Rs.2,700 and it closed the week at Rs.2,800.

Maida (90 kg) at Rs.2,400 price ruled steady till today when it rose by Rs.100 to close at Rs 2,500.
Moong dal opned lower by Rs 200 at Rs 9,600 and its price again fell by Rs 100 per quintal to close the week at Rs 9500.
Gram dal opened on a weak note at Rs.4,800 from its closing rates of Rs.4,900. It fell by Rs.100 per quintal to close the week at Rs.4,800.
Sugar fell by Rs 100 to end at Rs 2,800 against last week close of Rs 2,900. Urad dal (Rs.8,400) and Sooji (90 kgs) (Rs.3,000) ruled steady throughout the week.
