Thousands witness consecration of seven temples

: Thousands of devotees witnessed the consecreation of seven renovated temples here today

The temples are Nageswarar temple, Sodasa Mahalingaswamy temples on the banks of Mahamaham tank, Varadharajaperumal temple, JalachandiraMariamman temple, Navaneethakrishnaswamy temple, Eluppadi Vinayagar temple under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department.

They were renovated at a total cost of Rs 1,80,73,000

The consecration of private temple Muchchandhi Pathala kaliamman temple also took place today.
