The police today arrested three men for beating up another man, a friend, in suburban Vikhroli.
Video of the incident, which took place on Wednesday night, went viral on social media.
The accused were identified as Kamlesh Shetty, Sachin Chaure, Jayesh Kambre (all in late 20s) and another person who is yet to be arrested.
The accused and the complainant Raju Bhatpure were having drinks at a bar near Towernagar. An argument broke out following a comment by Raju and the accused beat him up, police said.
Raju's parents today approached Vikhrohi police, following which Shetty, Chaure and Kambre were arrested under section 324 of IPC (assault). Search was on for the fourth person.
