Three arrested for betting on India-Australia match

Three persons were arrested here for allegedly accepting bets on the India-Australia cricket match, police said today.

The three accused, identified as Rakesh, Shivkumar and Gulshan, were arrested from a house in Pratapnagar here on October 19, they added.

A TV set, set-up box, several mobile phones and documents having details of transaction worth Rs 1.5 crore were seized from their possession, the police said.
