Three arrested for demanding Rs 10 lakh extortion

Three persons have been arrested for allegedly demanding extortion money of Rs 10 lakh from a timber trader here, police said today.

Mosam, Shehzad and Bablu, were arrested for demanding extortion money from timber trader Balbahadur, investigation officer SI Navin Yadav said.

The accused were traced with the help of their mobile phone locations, he said, adding a case has been registered against them.
