Three constable of S V Manangalam police station here have been transferred on charges of dereliction of duty, police said today.
Superintendent of Police Aswin Mukund Kotnis went to the police station as that there was no respone for his wireless messages.
He found that the Inspector of the control room was at his house during duty hours and two of the constable drunk.
He ordered their transfer to the armed police wing, police said.
