The three-day annual home loan expo, organised by the real estate developer's body CREDAI, began today targeting prospective buyers.
Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) Chennai President Ajit Kumar Chordia inaugurated the mela and said prospective home buyers can walk in and get loan eligibility assessed with any of the bankers and may even walk out with the sanction letter.
"We as a confederation believe that the concept of Loan Mela is a great platform to create more potential real estate investors," he said.

Last year home loan mela bankers transacted business of about Rs 110 crore, he said.
Nine public and private sector banks are participating in the event, it said.
