Three persons were killed when their tractor trolley collided with a gas tanker here, police said.
The incident occurred yesterday on Kanpur-Fatehpur bridge when the tractor trolley was hit by the gas tanker killing Ramu (26), Manoj (25) and Pappu (25) on the spot, they said, adding that all the three bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigations are going on in the case.
While in a separate incident, one person was killed when a truck hit a scooter killing the scooter rider and injuring another at Naubasta Hanspuram, they said.
Kedar Singh (38) and Avdesh were taken to hospital where Kedar was declared brought dead, while Avdesh's right leg had to be amputated.
Kedar's body has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that the truck driver is absconding and search is going on for him.
