Three die in electrocution

Three persons have died of electrocution in three villages of Kanchanpur Sub-division of North Tripura district, about 180 km from here, official sources said today.

Sub divisional Magistrate, N Das said, "Twelve-year-old Asish Nath died at Shantipur village, a sexagenarian tribal, Khagendra Reang died at Kangrai colony and another tribal, Rajbahadur Reang (55) died Dashda village. All the three incidents occurred last night."

The SDM visited the residences of the deceased and gave an ex-gratia of Rs 5000 to each family.
