Three die in road mishap near Baripada

Three persons including a woman were killed and six others injured in an accident near Bankeswar on National Highway-18 today, the police said.

The incident took place when a Keonjhar bound oil tanker hit a vehicle carrying nine persons. While three persons died on the sport, the six injured were rushed to the district hospital, said sub-divisional police officer Suresh Jena.

A case was registered and the vehicle was seized, Jena said.
