Three drown at Bankura village

Three women drowned while taking bath in a pond at a village in Bankura district this morning, the police said.

The three women, aged between 13 and 28, came to a relative's house at Balsi village in the Patrasayar police station area to attend 'gajan' ceremony.

They went for a bath in a pond when they slipped and drowned, Bankura SP S K Nilkanta said.
