Three persons including two brothers died today after they came in contact with a live high tension wire here.
Police said the incident took place at Jalkal Chauraha area in district.
Two brothers -- Vivek Singh and Pintu Singh were fixing a banner of their dance classes when it came in contact with a high tension wire and caught fire due to high speed winds, Additional SP Narendra Kumar Singh.
"When Vivek went to remove the banner, he came in direct contact with the high tension wire. In a bid to rescue Vivek, Pintu along with Pradeep, a student, rushed but both of them got electrocuted also, he said.
Singh said that all of them died on the spot.
