Three feared drowned as boat capsizes

Three persons are feared drowned after a small boat capsized in Ghagra river in the district, police said today.

The boat ferrying eight persons across the river capsized near Kevthalia village last night, SP Umesh Kumar Srivastava said.

Those feared drowned have been identified as Phoolmati (38), Manisha (10) and Geeta (3).

Efforts are on to trace the missing persons.
