Three get death penalty for rape, murder of minor girl

A local court today awarded death sentence to three youths for raping and murdering a four-year- old girl here last year.

Additional District Court Judge Indira Singh handed down the capital punishment to Babu alias Chetan (22), Jitu alias Jetendra (20) and Sunny alias Devendra (22).

The trio was found guilty under various sections of the IPC related to rape, murder and abduction, among others, Public Prosecutor Hemant Mungee told PTI.
