Three held, 39 mobile handsets seized

Three persons allegedly involved in a mobile phone theft racket were arrested today after 39 mobile handsets were seized from their possession.

Rajesh Giri, Ram Prakash and Wasim were arrested during checking of vehicles near Nithari last night, Sub Inspector Braj Pal said.

The arrested have admitted their involvement in several cases of robbery and theft, he said.

Two country made pistols, 40 mobile phone batteries and one knife were also recovered from their possession, Pal said.
