Three held for illegal coal transport

Three persons were arrested for allegedly trying to transport coal illegally at Kharsang in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh, police said today.

The coal laden vehicle, moving from Kharsang to Bordumsa, was also seized at Kharsang yesterday.

Fourteen people were arrested and 5 coal smuggling cases lodged with the Kharsang Police station in the last one year, police said.
