Three held with illicit liquor in Jammu

Three persons have been arrested in separate cases for allegedly possessing illicit liquor in Jammu district, police said.

Two persons identified as Surjeet Kumar and Kala Ram were arrested near Hari Peer Check by the police last evening, they said, adding 150 pouches of illicit liquor were also from their possession.

A case has been registered and investigation is on in the case, they said.

In another such incident, a patrolling party from Police Post Phalan Wala arrested Bharam Dutt and recovered 36 pouches of illicit liqour, they said.
