Three including former cop, serving constable die in mishap

Three persons, including a former deputy superintendent of police, were killed in Mahabubnagar district as two cars collided head-on, police said.

Amangal police circle inspector Venugopal Reddy said the accident took place at Anneboyinpally village in Madugul mandal.

Retired DSP Ram Reddy (62), Jeevan (30) who was a serving constable with state police, and Jeevan's mother Chandhramma (55) died on the spot.

Five others were injured. They were taken to Hyderabad for treatment.
