Three minors were today injured when an unidentified object, which one of them had picked and carried home, exploded in Rajasthan's Dausa district.

The incident took place in Gudha Katla village. An eight- year-old girl picked up some scrap containing explosives that exploded at her home, injuring the girl and her two minor brothers, police said.

"The girl received injuries to her hand and was admitted to SMS hospital in Jaipur while her brothers sustained minor wounds and were given primary treatment," said SHO, Baswa police station, Niranjan Pal Singh.

"A sample of the object has been collected and will be sent for forensic science laboratory for testing," he added.
