In a minor reshuffle three IPS officers were today transferred by West Bengal government.
In an order issued by the state Secretariat three IPS officers - Sabya Sachi Raman Mishra, Sumit Kumar and Debashis Bej were transferred "in the interest of public service".
Mishra, SP of Howrah (Rural) was transferred as the superintendent of Railway Police, Sealdah in place of Debashis Bej who was made DC Traffic of Howrah Police Commissionerate, the order issued by the Home Department said.
Sumit Kumar, the DC Traffic of Howrah Police replaced the SP Howrah (Rural), it added.
