Three killed as tanker overturns in WB

Three persons were killed and another was injured when a tanker overturned on the National Highway 2 near Durgapur in the district today.

As the tanker overturned, it hit vegetable vendors sitting on the roadside killing three of them on spot this morning, Additional Commissioner of Police (EAST) Amitava Maity said.

The injured person was hospitalised, he said.
