Three persons, including a woman and a girl, were killed when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a truck in Deedarganj area here, police said today.
Shakuntala Devi (40), Khushboo (12) and Anil Kumar (20), were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by the truck near Surhan village last evening, ASP Lal Bahadur said.
Agitated over the incident, villagers gheraoed the police station and staged a demonstration, which was called off upon the assurance of senior officers, police said.
