At least three labourers were killed in lightning in Odisha's Ganjam district today, police said.
Police said the labourers engaged in road construction work at Jharana Chhaka near Purushottampur, had taken shelter under a roadside tree to avoid rains when the lightning struck them.
The dead were identified, the police said adding their bodies were sent for post-mortem and would be handed over to their relatives.
