Three persons were killed, while one was seriously injured when two motorcycles collided head-on in the Madhubani district of Bihar, the police said today.
Benipatti Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajesh Prabhakar said the incident happened on National Highway - 104 under Harlakhi police station area.
"Both the bikes were travelling at high speed and collided with each other killing three persons on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Akhilesh Sharma (30), Santosh Rai (20) and Chandan Mahto (27)," Prabhakar said.
The injured person identified as Mithilesh Sharma has been admitted to Sadar Hospital in the district, where his condition was stated to be critical, the DSP added.
