Three labourers die while cleaning septic tank

Three labourers died while cleaning a septic tank in suburban Malad today, a Fire official said.

The incident occurred at around 10:30 AM near Anthony Church in the area.

According to the official, the trio were rushed to two different hospitals where they died during treatment.

The deceased are identified as Murti Harijan (30), Maya Harijan (26) and Kashi Harijan (45).

The exact cause of their death is being ascertained.
