Three liquor smugglers arrested in Noida

The arrests were made by the District Excise Department and Noida Police.

Two of the smugglers, Sushil and Rakesh, were arrested from Sector 73 crossing along with 336 bottles of illegal liquor.

While the third, Raja Babu, was arrested with about 144 bottles in another crackdown by the Jewar police.

On the arrests made, District Excise Officer Kuldeep Yadav said: "We are holding regular checking at borders to prevent liquor smuggling."
