Three members of family injured in acid attack

Kamrunisha (75), her daughter Najma (25) and handicapped son Jaish Mohammad (45) were seriously injured when some local heavyweights, eager to grab their properties, threw acid on them this evening, they said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital where the condition of two of them was stated to be serious, they said.

Further probes are on into the case, they added.
