Three men die in accident in UP

Three men were killed when the bike they were riding was hit by a speeding vehicle on Charthawal-Mathura road in the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the victims, Deepak (20), Ankit (16) and Balister (30), were returning to their village from Charthawal, they said, adding, the driver escaped with his vehicle.

Their bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.

Meanwhile, locals today blocked Charthawal-Thanabahwan road in protest against the accident, police said.
