Three persons killed, 16 injured in accident

Three persons were killed and 16 injured when a pick-up van collided with a bus in Jalpaiguri district today.

All the occupants of the pick-up van were among those killed, a police officer said.

The accident occurred at Bondhu Nagar, adjacent to Siliguri

The 16 injured were passengers of the bus.

They were admitted to North Bengal Medical College and Hsopital and six persons were released after first aid, a hospital official said.
