Three poachers arrested, rhino horn seized

Three alleged poachers were today arrested from Balipara in Assam's Sonitpur district and a rhino horn and pistol were seized from their possession.

The poachers were arrested with the rhino horn weighing 1 kg from a hotel at Balipara, about 25 km from the district headquarters Tezpur, police said.

The accused were identified as Jadab Payang, Deepak Pao and Najar Ali, they added.
