Three meritorious students of CBSE-affiliated schools were here today presented with Lakshman Singh Kothari and Dr Srijata Das memorial awards for the year 2014.
The awards were presented by Sanjay Kothari, Secretary, DoPT, in the presence of CBSE officials including the chairperson of the board Satbir Bedi.
Sarthak Aggarwal from DPS, Vasant Kunj here, received both the Lakshman Singh Kothari Memorial Award and Dr Srijata Das Memorial Award for securing highest marks in all subjects and 100 per cent marks in Mathematics, Public Relations Officer of CBSE, Rama Sharma said.
Dr Srijata Das Memorial Award for Excellence in Mathematics was presented to G Hari Shankar from Air Force Bal Bharati School, Delhi, and R Sreela from Rajagiri Public School, Ernakulam, Kerala, she said.
