Three teenage boys drown in canal

Three teenage boys drowned while taking bath in a canal here, police said today.

The incident took place when Chotu (17), Deepak (16) and Shivam (15), along with two others, stopped to take a bath at a canal en route to their coaching class yesterday.

"All the three were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead," police said.

The bodies were handed over to their respective family members.
