Three teenage girls drown in a river in Bhilwara district

Three teenaged girls drowned in a river today in Mandalgarh village in Bhilwara district, police said.

The incident happened when Suva (15), Lakhi (13) and (12), all residents of Pali district, had gone to take a bath in Mej River, Rajendra Singh SHO of Kachol police station said.

They went into deep water and eventually drowned, he said.

The bodies have been taken and handed over to family members after post mortem.
