Three women of a family die due to snake-bite

Three women of a family died after a snake bit them in Ahiraula village in the Bhuta area here, the police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Drupa Devi (70), Asha Devi (50) and Baby (32), who were sleeping, were bitten by a snake, they said.

All the three were taken to a hospital, where they died during treatment, the police said.
