Three workers die as granite block falls on them from lorry

Three labourers, working at a quarry in Earlakonda village in the district, were crushed to death today when one of the granite blocks loaded into a lorry fell on them, a Revenue department officer said.

The deceased are identified as Pallani (55), Ramamurthy (45), and Ghouse, he said.

A case has been registered by the police in this regard and further investigation is on.
