Three youths killed as motorcycle hit by truck

Three motorcycle-borne youths were killed after their vehicle was hit by a truck in Chaubepur district of Kanpur, police said today.

Kunber Singh (16), Aalam (17), Mohammad Shah (18) were on their way to meet their relatives when the incident occurred last night near Shibli railway crossing, police said.

The truck hit the motorcycle following which the youths fell from it and were crushed under the heavy vehicle, they said, adding they died on the spot.

The truck driver is absconding, they said, adding further investigation is on.
