Tiger cub found dead in Telangana

A tiger cub was found dead on a hill near Tamsi in Adilabad district of Telangana, police said today.

The cub, believed to be around 2 to 3 years old, was found dead by some cattle rearers this morning at Bodagutta, a hill near Tamsi, they said.

Forest department officials were informed and they conducted an autopsy, police said, adding that the cub is believed to have crossed into the district from a reserve forest in Maharashtra through the Penganga river.
