Timber-laden trucks seized

Security forces today

seized eight trucks loaded with timber along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border in Sonitpur district.

DFO Sivasis Das said the SSB personnel intercepted the trucks along the inter-state border and seized the huge quantity of timber in an area under Biswanath Chariali police station.

The drivers of the vehicles have also been arrested, he added.
