Tin, nickel slip on lower demand

Tin, nickel and zinc prices slipped in an otherwise lacklustre trade at the non-ferrous metals market here today due to stockists selling amid reduced demand from alloy industries.

While, lead inched up on better offtake from consumer industries.

Tin and nickel declined by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,145 and Rs 730 from Monday's level of Rs 1,150 and Rs 735.

Zinc edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 136 from Rs 138.

However, lead inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 123 as against Rs 122 previously.
