TN Assembly session begins tomorrow

The Tamil Nadu Assembly session will begin here tomorrow amid jubilation among the ruling AIADMK members over the party's impressive win in the bypoll to the Srirangam Assembly seat.

AIADMK nominee S Valarmathi trounced her DMK rival N Anand in the by-election held to fill up the vacancy caused by disqualification of former chief minister Jayalalithaa following her conviction in a disproportionate assets case.

Governor K Rosaiah will address the session on the opening day.

The Business Advisory Committee slated to meet after the Governor's address will decide the number of days of sitting of the House to transact business.
