TN BJP chief wishes Karunanidhi a speedy recovery

Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamilisai Sounderrajan today wished a speedy recovery to DMK President M Karunanidhi, who is indisposed following an allergy.

She said she was "grieved" to know that the "senior leader" was suffering from illness.

"I pray to God for his speedy recovery and carry on with his political and party work," Tamilisai said in a statement.

DMK had yesterday announced that 93-year-old Karunanidhi had taken ill due to a drug induced allergy and doctors have advised him to take rest.

It had also requested people to avoid visiting him.
